I provide residential appraisal reports for all needs in Orange and Durham counties North Carolina in the towns of Chapel Hill, Carrboro and Durham. Each report is a custom document written utilizing the latest available data, never "cloned" from a similar property. I restrict my service area to Chapel Hill, Carrboro and Durham in order to provide superior service to my clients. My goal is to provide an appraisal report of the highest quality on which you can depend. Allow me to serve you. Brokerage
My brokerage services are limited to working as a buyer's agent. I choose to limit myself to prevent the inevitable conflicts of interest that can arise between selling and appraising properties. As a buyer's agent, such conflicts on interest rarely occur. In fact my activities as an appraiser enhance my ability to serve residential buyers. Personal Background
As a teacher of Mathematics and Computer Skills, I value education highly and work constantly to stay current on all appraisal related issues to ensure the highest quality product possible. I hold a BA degree from Carson-Newman College in Jefferson City, TN and completed further course work at Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA, San Francisco State University in San Francisco, CA, Notre Dame de Namur University in Belmont, CA, and at isolated classes at several other schools.
I received my initial appraisal education at Mingle School of Real Estate in Charlotte, NC. Additional appraisal education was received at Real Estate Education Specialists in Orlando, FL and through the Appraisal Institute of which I am an associate member. Specialty education taken includes such topics as Appraising from Blueprints and Specifications, FHA and the Appraisal Process, Manufactured Home Appraisals, as well as several more in-depth classes on the various aspects of residential appraising.
